Historic Slate Roof Snow Guard Replacement at Edmond Town Hall
Aardvark Roofing carefully replaced selected damaged snow guards on the nearly century-old slate roof at Edmond Town Hall on Main Street in Newtown.
Edmond Town Hall is one of the most recognizable historic buildings on Main Street in Newtown. Dedicated in 1930, its beautiful slate roof is now nearly a century old.
Aardvark Roofing was trusted to replace selected damaged snow guards on this historic roof. Our experienced crew carefully removed the slate tiles needed to reach the attachment points, installed the new snow guards, and restored the slate while preserving the building's original appearance.
Snow guards help prevent large sheets of snow and ice from suddenly sliding from a steep roof, helping protect entrances, walkways, landscaping, and the people below.
Historic slate roofing requires patience, experience, and careful workmanship. Aardvark Roofing has proudly served Newtown and communities throughout Connecticut since 1996.
